Dr. Michael Scrydloff grew up in the San Fernando Valley area of southern California. He attended the University of California-San Diego and received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. After serving a summer residency at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego (now the Naval Medical Center-San Diego), he made his decision to go into dentistry. He was accepted into the nationally renowned four-year program at UCLA School of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 1986. After graduation, Dr. Scrydloff was eager to keep his connection to UCLA and became an Associate Professor. Passionate about education, he instructed dental students in clinic and laboratory settings and served as a Clinic Director during his 10 years at UCLA. During this time he also maintained his private practice.
It was his fondness for the lifestyle and outdoor sports that brought Dr. Scrydloff back to San Diego in1999. He devoted his full time to private dental practice. He is committed to providing high-quality, complete dental care for the family with minimal referrals to specialists. In addition, he is dedicated to providing dental services for handicapped and fearful patients. Dr. Scrydloff is licensed and certified to provide Oral Conscious Sedation services.
